SyncretismSyncretism is like unionism only it is practiced with non-Christians. It is the joining in official acts (worship, weddings, etc.) by LCMS clergy with leaders of other non-Christian religions. Since such action brings disgrace to the unique truth of Christianity and sends confusing signals about that truth, syncretism is not allowable for confessors of the true Christian faith.
